Snowy Twilight Racecourse - Northampton

Love the photo this is painted from. Second time I've painted it, bit looser this time. Might be an entry for the Art in the Park exhibition.

Abstract / landscape in oils

Today at the www.networkarts.co.uk workshop our tutor was Mo Teeuw. Great workshop, working on landscapes / abstraction in oils. Seriously considering painting holiday to Morrocco now.

A friend took this photograph of The Racecourse in Northampton the other day - perfect opportunity to paint it. If I had planned a bit better I would have printed it out rather than trying to paint from a pic on my phone.
